Downtown Flashback FeatureEach month, the East Point Historical Society provides an article for the "Flashback Feature" for the Downtown Newsletter. Each article highlights a piece of East Point's vibrant history. Larcom and the History of East PointBorn in 1932, Mrs. Anne S. Larcom was active in her community and impacted many she came in contact with, including the city she and her husband lived in for many years: East Point. She made a long lasting impact on the City thru her accumulated accounts of East Point history, permanently preserved in her book titled, Centennial Chronology of East Point History: 1887-1987. Below are just a few scans of excerpts from her original research notes for the book. Mrs. Anne S. Larcom passed away in July of 2013. Her full obituary is available to read here.
