Susan Harris - Owner

Debbie’s Delight s opened its doors in Downtown East Point at the intersection of East Point Street and White Way in 2014. The owner, Susan Harris, chose the East Point location because she could see it was a growing community with Georgia southern charm, which she fell in love with. She felt it was also important to stay open for dinner to serve residents a good meal after work.

This is the second Debbie’s Delight location opened by Susan Harris. The original location is actually in St. Louis, Missouri. That location has been serving the north city community of St. Louis for over 8 years and counting!

Debbie’s Delights is a family friendly eatery with a vibrant menu and diverse range of patrons. The menu includes southern favorites like Shrimp and Grits and Chicken and Waffles, but also offers unique menu items like their “cereal bar” (yes, your choice of 2-3 of your favorite breakfast cereals!) and Captain Crunch French Toast! They also offer a fabulous selection of fresh, homemade cakes like red velvet cake, carrot cake and even an oreo cake (varieties rotate). Also check out glazed “Donut Hole Wednesdays”!
