Q's Southern Style Restaurant
Located on White Way, across from the East Point MARTA train station, Q’s Southern Style Restaurant has been in East Point since 2001.
The owner, Quovadis Hershberger, chose East Point because she liked its small town feel, easy access to banks, City Hall, MARTA and surrounding businesses. She says this location is convenient for her patrons because it allows them to shop and take care of their other errands and still stop by and enjoy a delicious meal at her restaurant.
Q’s Restaurant has become a staple in Downtown East Point. Visitors and residents alike know they can always come to Q’s and get a delicious, authentic southern style meal that reminds them of their childhood. There specialties include ox tails, baked chicken, meat loaf, stuffing/dressing, black eyed peas, banana pudding, cobbler and much more! You can also request their fried green tomatoes if they are in season! All their food is prepared on the premises and all vegetables are freshly cooked.
Q’s Restaurant is also great for carry out orders if you can’t sit down and enjoy your meal. Or if you don’t have time to cook for your family that evening, call in an order "to go" and pick up the meals on your way home.
Q’s Restaurant participates in community events like the "Taste of East Point... and the Tri-Cities Area".
A little know fact is that White Way got its name because it was the first street in East Point to have electric lights, so they called it a “white way”.
