The Style Closet opened its doors in Downtown East Point in 2014. The owner, Iris Gathing, chose East Point because she loved the quaint, small town, family oriented ambiance of East Point and the fact that it is centrally located with a lot of transportation options for patrons.

The Style Closet is an image style service business that provides professional fittings (including bra fittings) and consignment clothing, shoes and accessories and skin care and make-up products. They also offer beauty and style workshops, sewing classes and professional appearance classes that teach students about color, style and presentation. The Style Closet can host special occasions like tea socials, birthday parties, bridal showers and social business meetings. They also offer workshops for employers regarding employee professional appearance, dress codes and communication skills. The boutique features two certified image consultants, Iris Gathing and Jill Carter, and a beauty educator, Sydney Kelliee. They also have a jewelry designer, Faye Edwards, on their team. Each team member strives to make your ex- perience personalized to your specific needs.

Consignment offerings are new or gently used and prices range from $10-$100. They also offer designer items, including handbags, that run slightly higher based on current market value.
