Sages Barbershop

Sages Barbershop in Downtown East Point opened its doors for business in 2017. The owners, Patrice Parker and Kenneth Latimer II, chose to open their business in Downtown East Point because they fell in love with the feel and character of East Point when they moved here from Miami in 2007. The name “Sages” was derived from the definition of the word, which is “a group of wise men”. The owners feel their business can be seen as a place where groups of wise men, as well as, youth, gather together.

Their focus group includes children, working men and retired elders. They purposely designed their barbershop to offer a unique look and feel and they provided a vinyl record player for guests to use during their visits. They plan on expanding their services to include shoe shining.

They have a staff of seasoned barbers who have been working in their field for over 20 years. They pride themselves on giving customers the “million dollar” look, without the ridiculous pricing.

Sages Barbershop is excited about being a part of the East Point business community and they have plans to spread the word about all that Downtown East Point has to offer as they participate in community festivals and events all over metro Atlanta.
