Guardian Security The Guardian Protective Services is located in Downtown East Point, just a couple of blocks from the East Point Law Enforcement Center.

The owner, Benjamin T. Maner III, opened the business in 1992. Mr. Maner is a retired detective with the NYPD and a native of Brooklyn, N.Y. After retirement in 1992, he moved to Georgia and started the Guardian Protective Services which took off with work for the 1996 Olympics and Coca-Cola and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in the years that followed. He chose to locate his business in Downtown East Point because it is easy to get to and it is centrally located, convenient to Downtown Atlanta and the entire South Metro Area.

The Guardian Protective Services provides surveillance and investigative services. They evaluate the clients security needs and provide armed and unarmed security officers, off duty police, vehicle escorts, traffic control, concierge/front desk security, missing persons investigations, personal protection, private investigations, surveillance, criminal background checks, skip tracing and more. They also offer security and investigation seminars.

Maner attributes his lack of high turnover to the fact that they hire experienced security officers, many of which have been there 15+ years.

One of their greatest acco-plishments for 2013 is being selected to service a Fortune 500 company which demanded an additional 4000 security man-hours per week, generating 115 new jobs.
