Shack on Main BBQ
Located on East Point Street (across from the East Point Law Enforcement Center and just down the street from East Point City Hall), Shack on Main says they are committed to providing freshly prepared food at affordable prices!
“We chose East Point because of the location and that East Point strives to help businesses. It’s also a good perk that the police department is right across the street from us,” say the owners, Melvin and Cynthia Bradley.
Shack on Main was originally founded in 2006 by Leon King, Jr., brother of Cynthia Bradley. “It was our goal then, as it is now, to provide our patrons with excellent food prepared fresh daily. It is a place for families, business men and women, service mean, etc. to come out and enjoy some great barbeque.” says Bradley. Shack on Main’s Mission Statement: “We will provide high quality, freshly prepared food at affordable prices. Our patio setting provides patrons with a fun atmosphere for a casual and comfortable dining experience. Friendly, courteous and prompt service will be provided by a staff sensitive to a busy lunch time.”
“We are known throughout the City for our Texas brisket, as well as, fall off the bone ribs,” says Bradley.

Some Reviews of Shack on Main:
“This place rocks. Hands down some of the best BBQ I have ever eaten. They do an awesome job on the ribs, the pork and the chicken. The Ribs are THE reason to go. The sides are good, but if you go to a BBQ place for the sides, well, you really don't eat BBQ”. - Ben V. (Yelp)
“So while the location is a shack, the food is awesome. They also have a wide variety of sauces, so it can go from sweet to spicy and anywhere in between. The Tangy is probably my favorite. I plan on getting them again for my next get together”.- Terry F. (Yelp)
